Pastoral - One of our pastors will be available to support those facing difficult times.
Assessors - Share Christian love with care receivers and families as they coordinate ministry teams to meet identified needs.
Meals - Home cooked meals provided as needed during all phases of cancer treatment.
Insurance - Assistance in understanding health insurance coverage, reporting requirements, and communicating with claims departments.
Description of Our Services
Spiritual
SWAT Team - An emergency prayer team on constant standby to pray for stressful situations as they occur.
Spiritual Friends - A team of prayerful people who will come to the home or pray by phone upon request.
Prayer Warrior - A member of Cannon who will pray intensely for your special needs when notified.Emotional and Prayer Support
Prayer Bearers - Handmade bears given to care receivers as tangible evidence of "prayer and encouragement."
Stephen Ministry - Regular, confidential, one-on-one help from a volunteer trained in emotional support.
Grief Support - Helping to cope with the issues of illness and loss involved with cancer.
Greeting Cards - Special members of our team who send each care receiver cards of encouragement frequently.
Daily Bread and Sheperding
Transportation - Providing travel to and from appointments, picking up prescriptions, and running errands.
Home Care - Helping with normal home repairs and lawn care during treatment.
House Keeping - Helping with normal housekeeping during treatment.
Informational and Support Services
Reference - Provide listings of available community support programs, hospital facilities, and governmental agencies.
Funeral and Burial support - Helping families find support necessary to handle funeral and burial needs.
Legal - Provide families information and support on topics such as "Living Wills" and "Health Power of Attorney".
